Jonny Kousa

Attorney Jonny Kousa is the Managing Member of The Law Offices of Jonny Kousa, P.L. Mr. Kousa received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University with the highest honors. After college, Mr. Kousa answered his country's call when he joined the United States Army Reserve. He graduated from the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School with the rank of Second Lieutenant.

Mr. Kousa went on to lead a platoon of military police officers of the 303rd Military Police Company in Jackson, Michigan. As a platoon leader, then Lieutenant Kousa exercised command and control of his platoon and took charge of all functions necessary to man, train, and equip soldiers deploying to fight the war on terror. Mr. Kousa received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with high honors, graduating in the top 15% of his law school class.

A History of Success

Mr. Kousa went on to join the oldest law firm in the country and became a Judge Advocate and First Lieutenant in the United States Army JAG Corps - USAR. He was then promoted to the rank of Captain.

Mr. Kousa is a fluent Arabic-speaking attorney.

As a former military lawyer in South Florida, Mr. Kousa has provided legal services to soldiers and their families in a variety of areas such as divorce, paternity, timesharing, alimony, and child support.

Mr. Kousa represents individual in highly contested divorce and family law matter.

Mr. Kousa has been representing individuals from across the Middle East who chose Mr. Kousa as their Arabic-speaking lawyer in South Florida not only because of his legal credentials, but also because of his ability to fluently speak their language and understand their culture.

Attorney Jonny Kousa is a member of the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is also heavily involved in serving our legal community by continuing to participate in grading Florida Bar exams.
